Robert F. Reusché Memorial Fund

The Lake County Community Foundation, an affiliate of The Chicago Community Trust, announced the creation of the Robert F. Reusché Memorial Fund in memory of founder and revered advisor of The Lake County Community Foundation, Robert F. Reusché.

Robert F. Reusché passed away in the early morning hours on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Bob devoted the first ten years of his retirement from the Northern Trust Company to The Chicago Community Trust, serving as senior advisor. It was during his tenure as senior advisor that he championed the establishment of The Lake County Community Foundation, a permanent charitable legacy in his home of Lake County. His giving spirit touched the lives of countless people. “The staff and board of The Lake County Community Foundation will profoundly miss Bob’s devotion to philanthropy, infectious curiosity about the world and friendly smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones,” Says Sylvia M. Zaldivar-Sykes, Executive Director of the Foundation.
