The Lake County Community Foundation announces impactful changes among the Foundation’s board leadership.

During the November 2014 annual meeting Anne Reusché assumed the role of Chair. Reusché, daughter of founding board member Robert F. Reusché and owner of a communications consulting business, takes the role after A. Stewart Kerr’s two years of service as Chair. Kerr will remain active on the board and serve on the Executive Committee as Past Chair.

“I have big shoes to fill,” Reusché told her fellow board members, and noted that Kerr’s steady leadership through a period of tremendous growth and transition positions the Foundation up for an impactful decade to come. “This Foundation meant the world to my father and means the world to my family. I’m very excited to continue his legacy of supporting the most vulnerable of Lake County.”

Other changes to the board structure include Miah H. Armour who will serve as Vice Chair along with Thomas P. McMenamin who has served in the role for two years and has committed to an additional one-year term.

Judy Armstrong was elected as board Secretary and Larry Connolly Treasurer. Former Treasurer, Horacio Lopez, will serve out his term as a Member at Large on the Executive Committee.

“These changes speak to the dedication our board brings to the mission of improving the quality of life of Lake County’s most vulnerable residents,” said Maree G. Bullock, Interim Executive Director of the Foundation. “They are passionate, dedicated leaders and the right stewards to guide the Foundation to greater heights.”
