Quarterly Networking & Education Series: Executive Director’s Guide to Board Engagement
Join us on Wednesday, June 3, from 12:30 – 2 p.m. at the Vernon Area Public Library in Lincolnshire.
Attention nonprofit executive directors: Please join us for the Nonprofit Quarterly Networking & Education Series in partnership with The Lake County Community Foundation, the Vernon Area Public Library and GiveNKind.
Note: this event is intended for and open to nonprofit Executive Directors.
Strong boards don’t happen by accident – they’re built with clarity, structure and the right expectations. This interactive workshop will help nonprofit Executive Directors sharpen their understanding of the board’s role, draw the line between board and staff responsibilities and create the conditions for board members to meaningfully contribute.
What you’ll leave with:
- Practical tools to strengthen board engagement and foster accountability
- A clear framework for separating board and staff responsibilities
- Strategies to build a high-functioning partnership between leadership and governance
